Speaking at the Smart City Expo Doha 2022 recently, Al Sharshani said the ride-hailing company named the largest flexibility platform in the world has been sightseeing the launch of new products as part of its short-term and long-term plans in the Qatari market.

We need tolerant policies to make it easier and more inexpensive for drivers to transition to EVs. Multiple strategies can be applied, such as through subsidies and reasons, or investments in public organizations and charging infrastructure in particular. Also, well-established partnerships to provide bankrolling for EVs adoption are a key element in the entire process. So having a positive, forward-looking regulatory agenda is a key enabler to the transition to electrical flexibility, Al Sharshani added.
