Maj Gen Eng Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al-Ansari, Head of the Qatar FIFA World Cup Safety and Security Committee, Brig Ibrahim Khalil Al-Mohannadi, Head of Legal and Communication Affairs Committee, and Brig Abdullah Khalifa Al-Muftah, Head of Media Unit spoke at a press conference.

The conference agenda includes an overview of the competition, security risk assessments, security planning, security procedures at tournament venues, online safety requirements, and communication and collaboration with international partners. Brig Al Mohannadi identified the roles of the IPCC in the exchange of information between Qatar, such as the ruling party, participating and non-participating countries, and relevant international organizations. He added that the conference would be an opportunity to promote international cooperation and engagement with international and regional organizations.
On the other hand, Brig Al Muftah said the conference will address a wide range of important topics, and the Competition Safety and Security Committee, since its inception, seeks to implement its security strategy and programs in the field of training with qualified staff and international development and regional cooperation and brotherhood and friendship. The SSOC has also conducted several tests to ensure that Qatar hosts the safe and secure FIFA World Cup.
