A really special moment, happy and scary too. Not many people get the chance to see the World Cup, said Siphiwe Tshabalala, a former South African midfielder who scored the opening goal of the 2010 Football World Cup in Africa for the first time in 12 years.
We entered the stadium and saw the stadium full and everyone was celebrating with one voice, and then it was clear that we were scoring the goal, Shabba scoring a goal everyone was celebrating with one voice. For me those are the moments I will never forget, said Reneilwe Letsholonyane who also played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
